# Overview

**Arcamatic Backup** is an easy to use zero dependency machine to machine TCP/IP based backup solution for developers and techies to copy files from one machine to another.

Ideal for developers and webmasters that need to copy directory trees from one or more virtual machines to a centralized location for master backups to the cloud, **Arcamatic** makes it ultra simple: 

* [x] Copy the **Arcamatic Server** to the machine where the backups to the cloud will take place from, and specify the base directory where it will store files from your virtual machines.  Click the Start button on the server.
* [x] Copy the **Arcamatic Client** to the machine you want to copy files from and select the directories you would like to copy to the **Arcamatic Server**.  No license is required for client machines.  Click the Start button on the client.
* [x] **That's it!**
